The Cooperativa Muratori e Cementisti CMC of Ravenna, leader in the construction industry, was founded in Ravenna in 1901.

Active in Italy and abroad, it makes more than 90% of the annual consolidate sales, over 760 million euros in 2009, in the construction industry.

The requirements owned, both technical-organizational and economic-financial, together with the great experience gained in every part of the world in the construction of major infrastructure works, put CMC among the few italian general contractors enabled to compete in calls for tenders for great works.

CMC employs approximately 8.500 people, almost 500 of which form the permanent workforce; 373 of these are members.
